Community Care Service
The ŽIVOT 90 Community Care Service is a registered social service. The service is provided in accordance with Act 108/2006 Coll. on social services, as amended.
The ŽIVOT 90 Community Care Service is intended for residents of Prague, requiring another person's assistance in obtaining basic needs, primarily provision of care for themselves and their households due to advanced age, health handicap or chronic ailment.
The goal of the service is to support the user's self-sufficiency and enable him/her to stay in domestic environment.
Who the Service is intended for:
*seniors and handicapped citizens
*Age structure: older seniors over 80 years, younger people aged 65-80, handicapped adults aged 27-64
• assistance in coping with routine personal care
• assistance in coping with personal hygiene
• assistance in running the household
• provision of meals or assistance in obtaining food
• mediation of contacts with social environment
• assistance in assertion of rights and legitimate interests and in running personal matters
The service is available on workdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If need be, the service may be extended beyond the time limit on previous arrangement with the head of the community care service. The service is available in Prague.
The Community Care Service is paid by the user. Fees for services rendered to users are governed by the Internal Rules of ŽIVOT 90, formulated in accordance with Act 108/2006 Coll. on social services, as amended.
